About Pittsburgh Marine Technologies

Pittsburgh Marine Technologies was started in 2006 as a business to provide integrated navigation systems to vessels in commercial service. The core product was an electronic chart system that integrated existing and new ship marine electronic equipment into a single navigation display.

Sixteen years later, the company has expanded to provide a range of diversified services to the same commercial marine market.

Our services include marine electronic installation and repair, training, consulting and vessel services. Marine electronic technicians that PMT employs are FCC licensed with ship RADAR endorsements. Our marine electricians are certified by the American Boat and Yacht Council. PMT maintains membership in the National Marine Electronics Association and the American Boat and Yacht Council.

PMT not only installs marine electronics, we train your crews to use it. We write technical manuals for everything from electronic chart user manuals to technical training manuals for complex diesel-electric hybrid propulsion systems.

The training programs we have conducted include crew safety, use of RADAR, GPS, AIS, and electronic chart systems including Nav-Pak Pro and Rose Point Navigation.

Our C-Dory 255 Tomcat powered catamaran is available for a multitude of river based projects such as environmental sampling, survey, film and photography, and shore side commercial development.

Whether your needs are installation, training, consulting or vessel services, Pittsburgh Marine Technologies is ready to serve you.
